Ratan Devi and Jalianwala Bag

There is a museum in Jalianwala Bag.

During my trip to Amritsar, I went to Jalianwala bag and visited the museum.

In the museum, I found a moving description by Ratan Devi, whose husband Chaggu Bhagat was shot dead on that day in the Bag. She describes in vivid details how no one helped her throughout that fateful night to carry the body of her husband out of Jalianwala Bag since people were terrified to break the imposed curfew. She also describes how people were left to die inside the Bag and how the wounded did not receive as much as a sip of water during the entire night. Below, is a photograph of the narrative.
